Sustainable Infrastructure, Construction and Maintenance

How do you build cities that last—and thrive?

This summer, a select group of students from the Department of Civil Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology will find out firsthand. They’ll be in Singapore for a dynamic two-week program crafted to explore how smart design, resilient construction, and digital innovation shape the cities of tomorrow.

Conducted by the School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (SCALE) in collaboration with the College of Design and Engineering at the National University of Singapore, the program blends classroom insights with real-world site visits and expert-led discussions. Students will engage with NUS professors and explore how Singapore tackles urban development challenges with smart, sustainable solutions.

Green infrastructure. Smart technology. World-class city planning.
And a front-row seat to it all. This is where future-ready thinking meets one of the world’s most innovative urban environments.
